Duties:

The job holder will be a time served electrical engineer reporting to the site Maintenance Manager.

Duties will include:

  • Fault diagnosis of equipment and processes from identifying problems to implementation of solution
  • Repair of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment
  • On-going preventative maintenance programmes, stock control of parts and materials
  • General maintenance of the site
  • Ensuring all Company procedures are followed as necessary

    The job holder will be a time served electrical engineer preferably 17th Edition, with knowledge of PLCs and HMI control systems. The job holder will demonstrate strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills and be able to work on own initiative. Experience of working within a FMCG environment is required. Job Title: SENIOR MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS ENGINEER
Duties:

Working within the Final Assembly value stream, this role is to design, improve, implement, monitor and maintain manufacturing processes, in order to meet the key operational performance objectives of health and safety, cost reduction, right first time and on time delivery.

  • Organizing, planning, commissioning and maintaining production lines
  • Improving existing operations through incorporating new methods and processes
  • Handling equipment purchase and installation
  • Investigating operational problems affecting production and dealing with them in a systematic and methodical manner
  • Planning the use of resources and scheduling activities in order to meet an objective
  • Preparing manufacturing documentation required for product manufacture

Job Title: Controls Engineer – Generator C&I Specialist
Duties:
  • Design of generator control and instrumentation systems including protection systems, generator excitation systems and generator terminal cubicles.
  • Provision of technical support to customers and to Brush sales, manufacturing, testing, commissioning functions.
  • Applications engineering for control systems projects such as power management systems for load shedding etc.
  • Preparation and review of technical specifications including review of customers’ specifications..
  • Participate in cross-functional activities such as customer meetings, product and project review.
  • Play a cross-functional role in discussing and agreeing both Corrective and Preventive actions for QA problems.
  • Support sales and service personnel by occasionally working on sites in the UK, offshore and overseas when required.

    Job Title: CHIEF ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
    Duties:
    • To deliver a leading edge Transformers electrical design capability that demonstrates excellence in a competitive market.
    • Ensure that all designs and applied technology are compliant with the relevant technical, safety and environmental standards, codes of practice etc.
    • Leading a team of Engineers, in conjunction with the Transformers Test Expert and other team members, design and develop modifications to the existing product range, and lead new product development to support the business strategy for growth. Identify, lean techniques and methodologies within the Engineering department to improve efficiency and flexibility in alignment with Operations and Quality Departments.
